Jane Harden, Y.O.U. Consultant
Jane Harden currently serves as the Eastern
Region's Youth of Unity Consultant. Jane also served for 2 years as
the Region's Uniteen Consultant prior to becoming Y.O.U. Consultant.
Jane has worked with teens and children of all ages not only as a
volunteer and Y.O.U. Sponsor in the Youth Department at Unity of
Roanoke Valley, but also as a high school teacher for Roanoke City
Public Schools. Currently, Jane teaches US Government at City
School, an honors school for high school seniors. |

Jane is also an
experienced trial lawyer. She received her law degree from Wayne
State University in Detroit, Michigan in 1976 and practiced law for
26 years before closing her practice to devote her full energies to
teaching and youth ministry.
Jane has a long standing interest in martial arts. She holds a black
belt in Tae kwon do Karate and a brown belt in Wado Ryu Karate
Jane is the mother of a son age 25 and a daughter age 21. She also
has 2 grandsons, ages 7 and 1. Jane lives in Roanoke, Virginia with
her husband of 26 years, David "Dr. Dave" Harden. |
